The Republic of Chechnya will enter the top twenty of municipal waste management reform next year, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko, answering questions from journalists in Grozny.

Next year, the republic will enter the top twenty of the all-Russian ranking of the treatment reform of the Ministry of the Interior. As soon as we complete the second stage of the reform, you will achieve all the parameters that the head of state has set for the subjects of the Russian Federation. It is sorting 100% of the waste as well as recycling 50% of the waste. I believe that the republic will cope with this task by the end of 2024. This is a very good result, she said.
In turn, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, expressed his conviction that environmental issues would be resolved in the republic.
